Hardings (Hemel Hempstead) Ltd. Sponsor Rugby and Renault Day

  Hemel Hempstead’s Rugby Union team Camelot, were well prepared for the end of season clash with local rivals Barnet. Camelot RUFC has been sponsored by local Renault dealer Hardings for three years now and this year saw the biggest turn out at the first XV final league match against Barnet at their club ground on Chaulden lane on Saturday 12th April. Before the main match kicked off at 3.00 pm,The day got off to a good start with the tag rugby displays organised by members of the club, it also gave the colts and many younger players a chance to get involved on this fun day. Many other activities were taking place with a big bouncy castle and bungee run for the children. There was a superb barbeque on offer all day, from Chef John O’Brien.

Herts Mercury 96.6 , Radio were also there with team Mercury and the ‘Mercury  Modus’ hosting a competition on behalf of Hardings with the prize of a Sat. Nav. System up for Grabs, this was won by Mrs Vicky Gingell of Hemel Hempstead. There were also many other raffles and competitions organised by Hardings the driving force behind this event.

Hardings also had the fantastic Renault Formula 1 race car on display alongside a dozen of their own vehicles including the new Renault Laguna’s, the new Twingo, a Renaultsport Clio197, the Megane Coupe Cabriolet, The Espace and other vehicles from the extensive new vehicle range from Renault.
